Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the sales operations in an assigned territory by driving dealer and distributor networks, expanding market reach, and ensuring revenue and growth targets for paint products are met in alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Target Achievement
•Develop and implement area sales plans to achieve monthly and annual targets.
•Monitor primary and secondary sales across dealers and distributors.
2. Channel Development
•Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, retailers, and franchise outlets.
•Strengthen channel relationships through regular engagement and support.
3. Team Management
•Lead a team of Sales Executives or Territory Sales Officers.
•Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to the sales team.
4. Market Development
•Drive penetration into new markets and untapped segments (retail, projects, institutions).
•Promote new product launches and implement promotional campaigns.
5. Customer Relationship Management
•Build long-term relationships with dealers, contractors, builders, and influencers.
•Handle escalations, product feedback, and service-related issues efficiently.
6. Sales Forecasting & Reporting
•Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and consumer behavior.
•Prepare MIS reports and forecasts for senior management review.
7. Credit Control & Collections
•Monitor credit limits and ensure timely collections from dealers and distributors.
•Minimize outstanding dues and ensure healthy financial discipline.

•Paint industry product knowledge (decorative or industrial segment)

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in any stream (Science/Commerce/Engineering preferred)
•MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred)
•5–8 years of experience in channel sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
•Prior experience in paints, building materials, adhesives, or FMCG sectors is a plus

•Willingness to travel extensively
•Working knowledge of MS Office, CRM/ERP tools
•Two-wheeler or four-wheeler for field travel
